On September 24, 2011, English teachers, linguists, grammar aficionados, and writers across our great nation will celebrate National Punctuation Day® (NPD). According to founder Jeff Rubin—AKA, The Newsletter Guy— NPD marks, “A celebration of the lowly comma, correctly used quotation marks, and other proper uses of periods, semicolons, and the ever-mysterious ellipsis.”
